Fantastic for Beginners
The book is fantastic, it doesn't hesitate to cover technical details, but focuses on the important points. Informations is immediately useful. My shooting has improved incrementally with every chapter.
A fine read
This book is nicely laid out and full of great images and examples. A good read, and being somewhat experienced, I still picked up a lot of info and tips to improve my hobby. I think all will enjoy this, regardless of skill level.
The Magic of Digital Nature Photography 
For me, I found the tips very useful and practical. It is doable and makes me want to go out there to try these techniques too. Glad to have had a chance to purchase this book too.
Finally! 
Finally a book that lives up to its title. Other books take half their pages telling me which camera to choose and how it works, etc! This one actually talks about taking pictures. When he talks about filters, he shows photos to illustrate such as a picture taken with and without the filter. He gives useful tips and clear explanations.
I finally feel like I bought a book that was worth the money and my time.
Nice book for beginners.
I enjoyed this book and got a lot of good information out of it. The writing style is good and the photos are very nice.
I would say this makes a nice digital compliment to Shaw's Field Guide and Focus on Nature books.
