Customer Reviews:
A perfect book for beginners
What I liked about this book that it went thru detail on explaining some of the terminlogy so that you can understand and comprehend the subject. The exercises are simple but again it's well worth it.

For someone with very general knowledge about web-sites this book will definitly get you going with Dreamweaver.

Worthless
This book shows you how to recreate the same boring example website throughout the entire book. Great, if I wanted to recreate a simple website. But I don't. I want to create my own website from scratch with advanced features. After wasting my time with the first few chapters, I put the book down and figgured it out myself. What a waste!

Great Book
Ive been trying to learn HTML/CSS and then create pages with Dreamweaver. This book is very easy to learn from because of the layout and clear instructions. The first half of the book is geared toward beginners and people who do not totally understand the use of CSS in web design. However, for an intermediate user, these tutorials act as a great exercise and you may even learn a few keyboard shortcuts along the way. Great book.

Great Teaching Tool
I purchased the Adobe Dreamweaver as the text book for on online class. It is excellent, well written, and supplemented by a CD with exercises and videos. It could be a class in and of itself. The real test will be building the website from scratch but I would recommend this book to anyone interested in teaching themselves a great tool - Dreamweaver.

Excellent Dreamweaver Development by Example
You incrementally build a beautiful web site for a Coffee company. The techniques you learn are well documented and thought out. As a tutorial, I would strongly endorse the book. I have learned to use Dreamweaver to a greater degree than I did before, but I also learned how to construct a visually appealing web site. Nice graphics and colors. I recommend the book.
